That is why we have developed a product that is precisely tailored to the needs of older people. With manageable apartment sizes. Whether it is medical care or support in daily life – our apartments are specifically designed to ensure that quality of life is the priority, and such that extensive services and support can be booked according to personal need.
Furthermore, residents have access to spacious communal areas with outdoor space for daily catch-ups, shared activities or even family celebrations.

Those who live with us find everything they need nearby – be it shopping, medical care or meeting other people. Residents are free to book optional services from our care partner. Our apartments are designed in such a way that people with physical impairments can also move around easily. And if something does go wrong, the building services department is just a quick phone call away.

Those who are older want quick assistance in an emergency. Our SMARTments are equipped in such a way that occupants have access not only to the analogue emergency button. Those who are capable of using modern technology can make easy use of assistance in everyday life – for example, when shopping or doing the laundry. This is made possible by a fibre-optic internet connection laid throughout the entire building. Smartphones and tablets, for example, can be used to operate apps that fall under the concept of “Ambient Assisted Living”.

Be it alone or as a couple – whether in a large or small space: Apartments with different numbers of rooms and floor plans are available to rent, entirely according to personal situation. Particular importance is placed on high-quality and attractive fittings and equipment. A loggia or balcony is a given, and likewise a fitted kitchen and utility room. Our apartments are naturally barrier-free and can be rented furnished if desired.

Cooperation
GBI enters into collaboration with charitable service providers for the SMARTments senior living. The experienced partners from the care and welfare sector provide care staff who organise a home emergency number with 24-hour on-call service and offer advice when it comes to personal needs or dealings with the authorities. Furthermore, medical care and outpatient services can be arranged, as well as leisure activities – either in the communal room in the building, or outside.
